Our Beginner Ballet Level 1 class is a natural progression from the Intro class, designed for students who are ready to build on their foundational skills with more structure and confidence.
In this level, students will further develop their technique through more detailed barre work, coordinated centre exercises, and simple combinations that enhance balance, strength, and musicality. There is a greater focus on proper alignment, turnout, and fluidity of movement, while still maintaining a supportive and encouraging environment.
This class is ideal for those who have completed an introductory course or have some basic ballet experience, and are looking to refine their technique while gradually challenging themselves. Overall body condition is also integrated into each session.

Know Your Body (K.Y.B)
-
As dancers, our bodies are our instruments, and it's crucial that we care for and understand them.
At K.Y.B, we offer a comprehensive program that focuses on the essentials of strengthening, lengthening, and endurance, with an underlying emphasis on injury prevention. Our program is designed to translate and carry over to class works, rehearsals, and performances, allowing dancers to perform their technique safely and efficiently.
We believe that cross-training is a crucial component of a dancer's training. By taking a holistic approach to dance training, we help dancers develop a deeper understanding of their bodies, which leads to improved technique, greater resilience, and longevity in their dance careers. Join us and discover the benefits of taking a proactive approach to your dance training with K.Y.B.
